Thursday, December 12, 2019 | Comments

Two-way radio and mobile communications distributor Mobile Communications America (MCA) purchased Radio Communication Service (RCS), a communications solutions firm in South Carolina.

Founded in 1948 by Murl A. White Sr., RCS has five locations in central South Carolina and is a premier Motorola Solutions service provider since 1951.

"We are excited to become the latest member of the MCA family, especially with the recent industry growth and the capabilities between our two companies,” said David White, president of RCS. “The MCA family will allow RCS to have a much broader portfolio and greater resources to meet the growing demands of our current and future customers."

RCS has more than 70 years of experience supporting public safety and commercial customers in the region. The addition of RCS expands MCA's footprint to more than 65 locations across Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.

Earlier this week, MCA announced it purchased Longent.
