Locution Systems, which offers a fire station alerting system, announced that nine cities and counties went live with the PrimeAlert system in 2019.

More than half of the agencies are in Indiana, including Boone County, Greenfield Territory Fire, Hancock County, Vigo County and the city of Terre Haute. Hamilton County, Ohio; Salem, Virginia; Santa Barbara, California; and Southern Pines, North Carolina, are the other four jurisdictions.

“The whole purpose of the PrimeAlert fire station alerting system is to speed response times, save lives and property, and reduce stress for dispatchers and first responders,” said Glenn Neal, president of Locution Systems. “We’re pleased to bring these powerful technologies into these new communities now served by PrimeAlert.”
