E Comm Celebrates 25 Years with E-Books Series

E Comm International is celebrating 25 years in business by releasing a new e-book each month during 2020 on marketing, advertising and sales topics. The first e-book in the series is “25 Best Practices for Marketing in the Wireless Industry.”

E Comm International directs market strategy, branding, product launch planning, sales training, conference management, public relations and advertising design and content for print, digital and video platforms, with wireless industry clients in the U.S., Europe and Asia. A pioneer in the concept of a “virtual agency,” E Comm was one of the first companies in the U.S. to bring together a carefully selected team of design and content experts for each project.

“We are thankful to our clients for making this milestone anniversary possible,” said Elaine Walsh, company founder. “We launched E Comm International in response to wireless manufacturers telling us that while they could find general marketing or advertising talent, they could not find agencies or marketing partners with a deep understanding of wireless technology and its sales channels.”

Prior to launching E Comm, Walsh owned a manufacturing firm providing test equipment for local, state and federal government and on a private label basis for Motorola Solutions and other manufacturers. She spent more than 10 years as a vice president/group publisher for five technical trade magazines focused on wireless in the U.S., Latin America and Europe, and was on the management team for the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE) conference and other trade shows in the satellite communications and wireless markets.

The firm has earned ADDY awards for advertising and collateral design; been recognized for outstanding ad design by Stamats, Peter Li, Pennwell and other trade press companies; and is one of the “Top 20 Advertising and PR firms in Southern Arizona.” Elaine Walsh has been named an outstanding person in wireless, has won the business visionary award from the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), and various awards from the Radio Club of America (RCA) and Communications Marketing Association (CMA), and she frequently speaks at wireless industry events.
