Taoglas Group Holdings resolved its litigation against 2J Antennas and Javier Ruben Flores Cuadras. Taoglas brought the lawsuit in the U.S. District Court in San Diego for violations of trade secret misappropriation, breach of contract, intentional interference with contract and patent infringement.

Taoglas and 2J resolved the matter via a confidential settlement.

Taoglas’ proprietary antenna and RF designs are widely used in various wireless internet of things (IoT) devices globally across a range of wireless and IoT technologies to any protocol used to transmit and receive data.

“We will continue to vigorously defend our IP rights from anyone who seeks to impermissibly copy Taoglas’ innovative, high-quality products,” said Ronan Quinlan, co-CEO of Taoglas. “Our intellectual property, dedicated research and development (R&D) teams across our 10 global engineering centers, and industry-leading products and designs are among our most valuable assets and a key reason for our success and the success of our customers worldwide.”

Taoglas’ international patent portfolio includes more than 250 patent applications and more than 90 issued patents worldwide.
