Thursday, January 30, 2020 | Comments

Simoco Wireless Solutions opened a new interactive center of innovation at its Australian headquarters in Melbourne. The center will allow customers and partners to explore some of the key features of Simoco’s various communications technologies.

Customers will be able to draw on how a critical communications network is best managed and controlled, providing insight to improve day-to-day operational efficiencies. The center includes scenarios of how a government organization can control its entire fleet operations using dispatch and AVL software as well as using Simoco Bridge, an internet of things (IoT) technology to provide real-time analysis of the weather to aid worker safety and more.

The center also has demonstrations of how push to talk (PTT) over cellular (PoC) can be interfaced to a Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) Tier 3 system. A telemetry product is also on display and demonstrates how it can be deployed in a wide range of industries for the monitoring and control of equipment such as switches, valves, pumps and control modules. The SRB250 transportable shows how it provides radio coverage to a critical incident or emergency situation.
