The Government Wireless Technology & Communications Association (GWTCA) added Chris Baker, senior public-safety adviser for the FirstNet Authority, to its board of directors.

Baker has 31 years of first responder experience in fire and law enforcement and retired as a battalion chief and investigator from the Roseville (California) Fire Department.

“We’re incredibly excited about having Chris on our board,” said GWTCA President Andrew Maxymillian. “Chris’ exemplary service in public safety and his vast knowledge of public-safety communications brings a valuable resource and insight into GWTCA’s work.”
