Florida County Deploys RapidDeploy Dispatch Technology
Tuesday, February 18, 2020 | Comments

Manatee County, Florida, selected RapidDeploy’s cloud-aided dispatch technology as its new tactical mapping and data analytics provider for the county’s 9-1-1 emergency communications center. Manatee County made the purchase through grant funding from the state of Florida.

RapidDeploy’s Radius Plus mapping provides situational awareness tools and advanced location accuracy capabilities that result in faster response times for first responders, a statement said.

“RapidDeploy’s analytics platform will provide Manatee County the ability to analyze key data elements, such as the location of 9-1-1 calls, to gain insights for future public-safety initiatives in the county,” said Jacob Saur, director of public safety at Manatee County.

The technology is also being deployed statewide in California and Kansas, as well as by other local public-safety agencies across the United States.
