EENA Conference Postponed Due to Coronavirus

The European Emergency Number Association (EENA) postponed its annual conference, scheduled for April in Riga, Latvia, because of the COVID-19 outbreak.

“Our mission is to contribute to saving lives, and we simply cannot afford to put the health of the public-safety community at risk,” an EENA statement said. “Your work is far too important in your countries. We know the inconvenience this will cause for many, but any other decision would have been irresponsible.”

Organizers said the conference will be postponed to the second part of this year and more details will follow in the next weeks. EENA said it is grateful to Hotel Radisson Blu Latvija and the Radisson Hotel Group for their flexibility and support.
