Barak to Step Down from Carbyne’s Board, Elichai Named Chairman
Thursday, April 30, 2020 | Comments

Carbyne announced that former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak will step down from the board. Barak has served as chairman of Carbyne since 2015, helping steer the company through multiple funding rounds and the expansion of its technology into several new countries.

“We expect additional changes to the board’s composition in the future to reflect Carbyne’s increasingly global scope, with a particular focus on the U.S. and European markets, as well as to further align our company with best-in-class corporate governance practices,” said Carbyne CEO and Founder Amir Elichai.

Elichai will assume the role of chairman of the board. In addition, all shares owned by Barak’s Sum (E.B) LLP are being moved to IBI and will be sold in the coming weeks to a new investor who has been identified.
