The city of Los Angeles Emergency Management Department selected Veoci, an emergency management software as a service (SaaS) provider, to help in its response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The city will rapidly build and implement a solution to easily field resource requests with essential elements of information (EEI) internally and across departments, agencies and other partners working with the city.

“We are excited to have these solutions implemented,” said Aram Sahakian, general manager of the city of Los Angeles Emergency Management Department. “As one of the largest metropolitan areas in the United States, a seamless response to this crisis is critical. Veoci will make our response to the COVID-19 pandemic smoother and will help the city keep its communities safe and healthy.”

The city of Los Angeles Emergency Management Department will also implement a number of integrated solutions on the Veoci platform to address additional needs. These include an incident action plan (IAP) builder, incident command system (ICS) forms, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) reimbursement forms, pandemic response management and situational reporting dashboards.

Veoci is a cloud-based platform for emergency management, team collaboration and daily operations with stringent security.
