106 Applications Complete for CBRS 3.5 GHz Auction in July

More than 100 companies have accepted applications to bid in the upcoming 3.5 GHz spectrum auction. Out of the 348 short-form applications received for Auction 105 of Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) priority access licenses (PALs), 106 were complete and accepted for filing, and 242 applications were incomplete.

The auction is scheduled to begin July 23. Upfront payments for Auction 105 are due June 19. Resubmissions of short-form applications are also due June 19.

Several mission-critical communications companies are on the list of firms with completed applications. Chevron, Illinois Electric Cooperative and mobile radio company Lattamus Holding are all on the list of potential bidders.
