Field management firm Codea announced membership in TCCA, the global critical communications association. Founded in 2008 and based in Finland, Codea’s software is in use by rescue services, hospitals and private ambulance companies for the navigation and handling of emergency missions.

“We at Codea are pleased to join the group of professionals regarding critical communications,” said Timi Härkönen, Codea project manager. “We are looking forward for upcoming encounters with the specialists in the field. We also hope that we can, as market leaders in Finland, offer something in return too.”

Systems provided by Codea have been installed for more than 400 mobile units throughout Finland. The company is the market leader and industry standard in Finland, and already in daily use by thousands of professionals, covering some 25,000 missions on monthly basis.

“Efficient access to and management of critical information is crucial to the success of emergency responses, and Codea’s range of applications is supporting the first responders in Finland to help deliver the best possible outcomes,” said TCCA Chief Executive Tony Gray. “We are delighted to welcome the Codea team to TCCA and expect our wider membership and partners to benefit from their experience and expertise.”
