Pinal County, Arizona, selected Federal Engineering to provide technical assistance for the continual improvements to the county’s dispatch, mobile, records management and jail management software.

Federal Engineering will assess user needs and review the existing CAD, mobile data, records management system (RMS) and jail management system (JMS) applications.

"From our hundreds of similar projects, we understand that each client and every technology upgrade or replacement is unique," said Jeffrey Paré, Federal Engineering senior account executive. "As a full-service firm with extensive in-house resources and personnel, we are completing this project customized to the needs of Pinal County,”

Tasks will include releasing requests for technical information for the existing systems; creating a customized survey tool to gather demographic and statistical data, as well as an inventory of technology; performing a user needs assessment to document CAD/mobile/RMS/JMS functional requirements; and generating a needs assessment and requirements report.

“Understanding our current environment is a critical component of this assessment, and we needed a firm that knows Pinal County,” Lisa Shephard, the Pinal County Project Manager. “FE has been working with our county for almost a decade and that background, their nationwide experience and their certified independence made them the obvious choice.”
