EWA Announces Speakers for Virtual Wireless Leadership Summit

The Enterprise Wireless Alliance (EWA) announced the lineup of keynote speakers for its 2020 Wireless Leadership Summit. The summit will be held virtually, October 13 – 15.

The Wireless Leadership Summit provides decision-makers in the private wireless industry an opportunity to reflect on current industry trends and expectations, and how they can be harnessed for ongoing success. This year’s keynote speakers will address a variety of impactful technological and business issues.

Ira Feltz is the deputy chief of the FCC’s Office of Engineering and Technology (OET) and will discuss the technological and other challenges facing spectrum sharing.

Dr. Theodore Rappaport is a wireless entrepreneur, inventor and educator. He is the founder and director of New York University (NYU) Wireless, a multidisciplinary research center focused on the future of wireless communications and applications. Rappaport will discuss the transition from 5G to 6G and its impact.

Brian Solis of Salesforce is an anthropologist, futurist and best-selling author. He will discuss how the convergence of automation, artificial intelligence (AI), industrial internet of things (IoT), 5G and virtual reality/augmented reality (VR/AR) will augment and revolutionize how we work.

In addition to these keynote sessions, the 2020 Wireless Leadership Summit program explores new opportunities and trends in areas that affect the private LMR industry such as cybersecurity, post-COVID-19 workforce strategies and recently introduced broadband solutions that utilize the Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) (3.5 GHz) and 900 MHz.
