NENA Cancels Two Events Scheduled for Early Next Year
Wednesday, November 04, 2020 | Comments

The National Emergency Number Association (NENA) canceled two upcoming in-person events.

The Next-Generation 9-1-1 (NG 9-1-1) Standards and Best Practices Conference, which was scheduled for January 2021, and 9-1-1 Goes to Washington, which was originally planned for February 2021, were canceled due to ongoing public health and safety concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The association said it is exploring the possibility of hosting a virtual 9-1-1 Goes to Washington in February and plans to resume the in person standards and best practices conference in January 2022.
