MCP Promotes Reilly to President

Mission Critical Partners (MCP) announced the promotion of Darrin Reilly to president; he will continue as chief operating officer (COO). Reilly has been serving as MCP’s COO since March 2019.

Reilly joined the firm in 2018 as senior vice president of corporate development. His current promotion will support the successful ongoing execution of MCP’s strategic initiatives and further strengthen the firm’s position as a leading provider of services and solutions that support mission-critical communications.

In his newly expanded role, effective November 9, Reilly will oversee all finance, accounting and field sales activities. As COO, Reilly has been overseeing all day-to-day operations of the firm, which includes MCP’s two business divisions—consulting and lifecycle management services—as well as organic and inorganic growth initiatives. Reilly will continue to report to Kevin Murray, the company’s founder, chairman and CEO, who will redouble his focus on strategy, client relationships and acquisitions.

“Since joining MCP, Darrin has demonstrated extraordinary leadership in driving the strategic execution of our firm and has enhanced our business success,” Murray said. “He has been the catalyst for many of the firm’s most important initiatives. He remains committed to developing innovative solutions that help our clients achieve their goals and possesses sharp vision regarding how to improve emergency response outcomes.”

Murray added that Reilly played an integral role in MCP’s 2018 acquisition of Athena Advanced Networks and its 2020 acquisitions of URL Integration and Black & Veatch’s Public Safety Consulting Business.

Earlier in his career, Reilly served as COO for TriTech Software Systems, now part of CentralSquare Technologies; COO of Airbus DS Communications, formerly PlantCML and now part of Motorola Solutions; and president of Positron Public Safety Systems, now part of Intrado. He also served in various leadership positions at Motorola Solutions. Finally, he is a former chairman of the board of the Industry Council for Emergency Response Technologies (iCERT).

He has a master’s degree in business administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
