Wisconsin selected Federal Engineering to provide statewide radio network consulting services, which will include assistance with the development of requirements and specifications to be used in a request for proposal (RFP) for the next iteration of the Wisconsin Interoperable System for Communications (WISCOM).

“Federal Engineering has provided radio consulting services to the State of Wisconsin for almost two decades and we are proud that the state has selected us, once again, for this important project,” said Federal Engineering Director Rajit Jhaver. “FE has successfully completed more statewide radio projects than any other firm in the country, and we will bring that knowledge and experience to Wisconsin to deliver a successful project.”

Services that Federal Engineering will deliver include conducting interviews and focus groups with state system users to review needs and validate previously identified requirements; provide technical expertise to assist the state with developing, drafting and refining the system specifications and requirements for an RFP; provide subject matter expertise to assist the state and the evaluation committee during the procurement process including responding to vendors’ questions and vendor proposal evaluations; and provide an analysis of the draft and final vendor contract.
