British APCO Conference Delayed to October 2021

British APCO (BAPCO) announced that its annual in-person conference will be delayed from March to October. In its place, the association will host a virtual event.

“As a key event in the public-safety technology calendar, we are disappointed that we will not be able to run the show in-person in March,” the group said in a statement. “It has been a particularly challenging year for the emergency services, and we recognize the pent-up demand for vital support, guidance and connections the show would normally provide.”

The group’s virtual event will take place from 2-4 March.

“The event has been designed to help keep you connected and engaged with the sector in the absence of the live show, and we look forward to sharing full details of how you get involved shortly,” the statement said.

The in-person event was pushed back because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. BAPCO said it believes that holding the event in October 2021 will help it ensure the safety and well-being of all its visitors, exhibitors and staff.
