John Facella became the president of the Radio Club of America (RCA) Jan. 1. Facella followed Carroll Hollingsworth who served as an RCA board member for 20 years.

“As of midnight my term as the President of the Radio Club of America comes to an end, as does 20 years as an elected RCA board member,” Hollingsworth wrote in a December 31 email to RCA members. “I am humbled and appreciative of the opportunity to have served you and the Radio Club of America.”

Hollingsworth thanked RCA members for their support during his term and their work in adapting RCA events and activities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I wish to thank you for your membership in the Radio Club of America,” Hollingsworth wrote. “This year has been a year of change and learning to adapt by the RCA board of directors. Thanks to the dedication of many of you, and the officers and directors of the RCA, the Radio Club of America has enjoyed success in a difficult year.”
