“The purpose of this contract is to retain a qualified consulting team to assist the UCA in the implementation of an i3-compliant emergency services IP network (ESInet), next-generation core services (NCGS), and a NG 9-1-1 hosted call-handling solution,” said Quinton Stephens, general counsel and deputy director for the UCA. “Federal Engineering will provide, over the five-year implementation, assistance, guidance and where appropriate, negotiations to assist UCA with the transition of the new systems.”
“We are thrilled to be chosen, once again, by the state of Utah to support their NG 9-1-1 migration efforts,” said Federal Engineering President and CEO Ronald F. Bosco. “FE is uniquely qualified to assist based upon our previous NG 9- 1-1 analysis and procurement work for the state coupled with our multiyear Utah public-safety mobile radio consulting contract. Because of this experience, FE represents the best value to the citizens of Utah at the lowest risk.”
