Critical Communications World 2021 Delayed to November

With international travel restrictions expected into the spring because of the COVID-19 pandemic, TCCA rescheduled Critical Communications World (CCW) 2021 to 3 – 5 November of this year. The event will still take place at the Feria de Madrid (IFEMA) in Madrid, Spain.

The event was originally scheduled to occur June 8-10. With the COVID-19 pandemic proving to be far more impactful than anticipated, TCCA’s board unanimously agreed that postponing CCW to November is the correct thing to do to ensure the safety of participants and the success of the event.

“Everyone involved in Critical Communications World must be able to prepare for the event with full confidence,” said TCCA Chief Executive Tony Gray. “They must be reassured that plans will not have to change, travel costs will not be wasted, and, crucially, that they will be safe. CCW is the largest and most important show in its sector. It will continue to bring the entire industry ecosystem together, setting the agenda for the future of critical communications.”

With that in mind, the CCW team will be using the additional time prior to November to identify any areas where the event can be improved even further. That will include lessons learned from the virtual Critical Communications Week, which provided 4,500 visitors with a unique, online experience for the sector. All content from this event is still available.

“This is clearly a difficult time, and we are grateful to everyone for their continued patience and support as we reorganize,” Gray said. “We have huge expectations for CCW 2021, and fully expect it to be one of the most successful, and enjoyable, shows in the history of the event.”

All existing CCW 2021 bookings will be automatically transferred to the new dates, and a member of the team will be in touch with exhibitors in the coming days to discuss any potential queries.

Visitors to CCW 2021 will experience three days of cutting-edge content, including expert-led masterclasses and conference presentations. The latter will be free to attend for the first time. Meanwhile, the show’s exhibition will see the biggest critical communications companies in the world doing business with decision-makers from across the globe.
