The FCC’s Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau (PSHSB) announced the deadlines for feedback on the FCC’s proposed rules to prevent 9-1-1 fee diversion.

The proposed rules designate the uses that 9-1-1 fees can be used for and establish restrictions that can be imposed on states and jurisdictions diverting fees to other uses.

Initial comments on the rules are due March 23 and reply comments are due on April 2.
