Glenn Reynolds joined the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS) as vice president of technology policy and government relations.

Reynolds will focus on developing and advocating ATIS' technology and policy positions with government agencies, regulatory and legislative bodies, and industry groups. In collaboration with members' policy staff, he will lead efforts to progress the ambitious goals of ATIS' Next G Alliance with key government agencies and Congress. He will further strengthen ATIS' role as a leader in aligning the information communications technology (ICT) industry on the future technology landscape. In this key leadership position, Reynolds will be central to advancing ATIS' member-driven technology policy goals in both North America and globally, the organization said.

"With ATIS' diverse slate of priorities — evidenced in our work to create the National 6G Roadmap and North American wireless leadership in 6G and beyond through our Next G Alliance — Reynolds' unique industry experience will position him as an important and strategic addition to the ATIS team," said ATIS President and CEO Susan Miller.

Reynolds brings a keen understanding of regulatory and legislative policymaking processes to the organization, through extensive industry experience in the private sector and government agencies including the FCC and the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), as well as trade associations. Reynolds comes to ATIS from iconectiv where he was head of government and industry affairs and senior counsel. Prior to that, he served as chief of staff for the NTIA, where he worked with an array of government and industry stakeholders in the development of U.S. technology policy. He also previously served as vice president for policy at USTelecom and as deputy chief of the FCC's Wireline Competition Bureau.

"I am excited to join the talented team at ATIS and contribute to its critical role in supporting the industry's evolution of next-generation technologies," Reynolds noted. "ATIS plays an important part in helping industry develop and deliver new technologies that improve the lives of consumers, and I look forward to applying the breadth of my experience in technology policy to further those efforts.”
