In the future, Bittium will divide its sales management and development in the company’s three product and service areas, which are defense and security, medical technologies and connectivity solutions. Dividing sales into product and service areas in this context enables even stronger sales management and development. After the change, Bittium will have product and service area specific sales management, which will report to the heads of the product and service areas in their positions. As a result, sales development can be better targeted to the needs of each product and service areas. The changes will take effect on June 1.
”I want to take this opportunity and thank Sammy for the past years at Bittium. Under his leadership, the company has taken sales development in an increasingly international direction, expanding its international sales network in line with its strategy,” said Bittium CEO Hannu Huttunen. “As the company's product and service areas grow and develop in line with the strategy, an increasingly business-specific focus is needed on sales and the development of the distribution network. For this reason, the company has decided to move to a business-specific organization in sales management.”
