The Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Project 25 (P25) Compliance Assessment Program (CAP) released a draft version of its revision to the current “ISSI/CSSI Interoperability Test Requirements Compliance Assessment Bulletin (CAB)” document.

The revision includes some intricate procedural and detailed clarifications and corrections, as well as a new appendix that includes a provision for temporary suspension of P25 CAP Inter-RF Subsystem Interface (ISSI)/Console Subsystem Interface (CSSI) conformance testing requirements as they relate to the publication of equipment on the approved (grant-eligible) equipment list.

Comments on the document are due June 21. Upon conclusion of the 30 day public comment period, S&T will adjudicate all comments received and publish the resulting revision.
