The city of San Diego, California, awarded Federal Engineering (FE) a contract to provide public-safety communications consulting services.

The city requires a consultant that has the expertise, experience, and personnel necessary to provide a wide range of services over the life of this contract. Tasks will include review and documentation of radio systems, interference analyses and recommendations, FCC regulatory support, microwave link analyses and path studies and general public-safety communications technical support.

Federal Engineering was awarded a contract based upon its organizational experience, past performance, personnel qualifications and project approach which were necessary criteria to provide communications consulting services for the City of San Diego.

“Our team of subject matter experts has been working with governments in southern California for over a decade and as such we understand San Diego’s unique needs and circumstances,” FE Senior Vice President Scott Wiggins. “FE has a long history as trusted advisor to the City of San Diego and appreciates that they continue to see great value in our services. We firmly believe FE can deliver all the services the city’s Wireless Technology Services Division requires. We have completed multiple projects for the city, as well as for San Diego County, the city and county of Los Angeles, the city and county of San Francisco, numerous additional counties in California, the city of Oakland, and the state of California.”
