Dawson County, Georgia, selected Federal Engineering (FE) as the county’s consultant to assist with an upcoming public-safety radio system upgrade.

FE will assist Dawson County with the evaluation of options to upgrade its current analog VHF simulcast Motorola SmartNet radio system to a Project 25 (P25)-compliant system. In addition, the firm will provide project management to oversee and manage the installation, implementation and testing of the new system.

Mr. Ronald F. Bosco, President & CEO of Federal Engineering said: “FE’s consulting practice in Georgia continues to grow and we are excited to serve the citizens of Dawson County,” said FE President and CEO Ronald F. Bosco. “This project will encompass the full lifecycle: current radio network assessment, upgraded radio network design and recommendations, procurement support, and project management and implementation support. Our methodologies, refined over 2,000 successful projects, will deliver a successful upgrade at a minimum of cost and risks.”
