NENA Requests Comment on NG 9-1-1 Call Processing Metrics Standard
Friday, June 10, 2022 | Comments

The National Emergency Number Association (NENA) is requesting comment on a next-generation 911 (NG 911) call processing metrics standard.

The standard defines normalized NG 911 call processing metrics for computing useful statistics so that independent implementations can derive the same comparable measurements. The standard has been updated to support the implementations of NG 911 call processing metrics consistent with the NENA i3 standard for NG 911 and to add metrics from NENA’s soon-to-be-released conveyance of emergency incident data object (EIDO) standard.

Find the standard here. Comments are due July 11.
