The FCC announced the winning bidders of its 2.5 GHz band. In total, 7,872 of the 8,017 offered county-based licenses, or 98% of the total inventory, was sold. Overall, the auction raised $427 million.

T-Mobile License was the largest winner with total bids of $304 million for 7,156 licenses. The other biggest spenders were PTI Pacifica with bids of $17 million, TeleGuam Holdings with $16.5 million, Evergy Kansas Central with $12.7 million and Cellular South Licenses with $11.8 million.
The North American Catholic Educational Programming Foundation won the second most licenses with 107, Evergy Kansas won 54, LICT Wireless Broadband won 46 and Broadband One of the Midwest won 42.
Down payments in the auction are due September 16, and final payments are due September 30.
