NG911 Institute Announces Results of Board Election

The Next Generation 911 Institute (NG911 Institute) announced the results of its 2022 board of directors election.

Eric Hagerson of T-Mobile and Ron Bloom of Frontier Communications were re-elected to fill the vacant consumer telco positions. Chris Freeman of Marshall County (Kentucky) 911 and Lynne Houserman of Motorola Solutions were re-elected for the member-at-large (General) positions.

One new board member was also elected. Mike Tan of AT&T was elected for the final vacant consumer telco position.

The Board elected Liz Graeber of the City of Phoenix as chair and Peter Beckwith of South Sound (Washington) 911 as vice chair.

“The institute is pleased to welcome Mike Tan to the board,” said Executive Director Wesley Wright. “Mike will undoubtedly strengthen our leadership and bring new perspectives. The institute is fortunate to also retain Eric, Ron, Lynne and Chris. These nationally recognized public-safety and industry experts remain dedicated to ensuring a successful transition to nationwide NG 9-1-1 deployment.”
