The 800 MHz Transition Administration (TA) extended the Wave 4, Stage 1 deadline for request for planning funding (RFPF) submissions from July 1, to Aug. 14. RFPF deadlines are necessary to ensure that reconfiguration proceeds on schedule. If you miss the deadline, you should incorporate any necessary planning costs into the cost estimate for the frequency reconfiguration agreement (FRA). Planning funding requests submitted after the deadline will not be accepted without adequate explanation as to why funding is required prior to negotiating an FRA, the TA said.
