The Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) Association said Shanghai 3G (China), Wuhan New Technology Communication (China) and Gencom Two-Way Radio (Australia) joined the association.

In addition, Larimart upgraded to category 1 membership. Larimart joined the DMR Association earlier in 2012 as a category 2 member and will now participate in the marketing and technical working groups.

“I am delighted to welcome Shanghai 3G and Wuhan to the DMR Association as category 2 members,” said Mario Micheli, chair of the DMR Association. “Our category 2 members have a fundamental role in providing end users with the tools and applications they require to exploit the benefits of DMR to the highest extent. We welcome Gencom as a category 3 member.”

Established in 1997, Shanghai 3G develops, integrates and services professional radio communications systems. Wuhan New Technology Communication manufactures, repairs, develops and maintains telecommunications products for analog trunked, analog simulcast, digital conventional/trunked radio systems and subsidiary products. Gencom is a supplier of mobile communications systems for small business, event organizers, entertainment, hospitality, construction, mining, engineering, manufacturing, government and commercial ventures. Founded in 1960, Larimart is a Rome-based dealer in the professional and tactical communications fields and a Finmeccanica company.
