IJIS Institute Creates Associate Program (11/7/12)
Wednesday, November 07, 2012 | Comments

The IJIS Institute created a new associate program. For the first time, government, academic and non-profit employees who are interested in information sharing technology and standards, are invited to join the IJIS Institute in the role of an associate and to work alongside their industry counterparts.

“The formation of the new program will be an affirmative step toward further unifying industry’s partnerships with the government, academic and non-profit organizations that are engaged in the national information sharing mission,” said Steve Ambrosini, IJIS Institute executive director.

Associates would be able to network with industry leaders and colleagues, obtain reduced registration fees for IJIS Institute events, and receive updates and news on information sharing and national standards impacting their work, among others.

A no-fee promotion will run until June 30, 2013, at which time the annual fee for new IJIS Institute associates will become $95. For more information visit www.ijis.org/_associates/associateshome.html.
