Calif. County Awards Software Contract to MCM (11/9)

MCM Technology was awarded a five-year contract with Orange County (Calif.) Sheriff's Department. MCM was chosen to install and support its Real Time public-safety and communications asset management system to manage the count's public-safety and communications assets. Orange County encompasses 34 cities, including Anaheim and Santa Ana, and has a 2005-2006 budget of $4.97 billion.  Of that, 20.5 percent is dedicated to public protection. The value of the contract was not disclosed.
