Territories two, three and four will report to Confalonieri. Dan Twohig will lead the central division and be aligned with Jack Malloy. Territories one and five will report to Twohig. Howard Chercoe will lead the western division and will be aligned with Kelly Kirwan. Territories six, seven and eight will report to Chercoe.

Dave Cheh and Larry Escalonas’ functions were not changed, and they still report to David Walker, who reports to Tony Marshall.

Motorola also announced that the service organizations will be folded into the Empower Program channel partner program. So now Motorola Service Partner (MSPs) and Premier Service Partner (PSPs) will be Service Specialists and Elite Service Specialists.

The service organizations will be required to pay for training. Motorola executives said that the cost would be offset by the additional service development funds available to service partners, making it cost neutral. It is projected that Motorola will launch the new program by the third quarter.
