9-1-1 Training Foundation Plans 36-Hour Donation Drive (2/25/13)

The Denise Amber Lee Foundation is planning a giving challenge March 5 – 6 to meet a goal to raise $15,000 for telecommunicator training scholarships.

The online 36-hour giving challenge runs from March 5 at 7 a.m. to March 6 at 7 p.m. EST. To participate, visit www.givingpartnerchallenge.org, search for Denise Amber Lee Foundation and make a secure, tax-deductible donation with your credit or debit card.

Early donors can increase their gifts through the nearly $650,000 up for grabs as matching and incentive grants doled out on a first come first serve basis for donations as low as $25.

The Denise Amber Lee Foundation was selected to participate in the opportunity with 300 other non-profit organizations as a result of its demonstrated non-profit industry best practices and completion of an extensive donor profile in the givingpartner.guidestar.org database. The foundation aims to reach new levels in uniform training, standardized protocols and technological advances the 9-1-1 system.
