UTC Files in Favor of FCC on BPL Rules (11/8)
Wednesday, November 08, 2006 | Comments
UTC filed a motion to intervene in support of the FCC in the appeal by the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia against broadband over powerline (BPL) rules. UTC argued that its motion to intervene should be granted because it has an interest in the appeal that may not be represented adequately by other parties to the proceeding. Other parties are expected to intervene in support of the FCC. ARRL has appealed the FCC's 2004 report and order and its August order in the BPL proceeding in dockets 04-37 and 03-104.
