Adam Cooper, a systems administrator for Covington-Newton County 9-1-1 Communications Center in Georgia, has been named technician of the year by the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International. The recognition is a product of Cooper's successful implementation of a countywide public-safety data interoperability project using a software system from Spillman Technologies.
