Infinite RF Holdings, which includes the Pasternack and Fairview Microwave branded lines, announced the acquisition of L-com, a manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity solutions with significant custom manufacturing capabilities.

The value of the deal was not disclosed.

Headquartered in North Andover, Massachusetts, with global manufacturing, sales and distribution operations, L-Com serves the wireless engineering community. The addition of L-Com to Infinite’s existing RF component companies creates a combination of solutions and a global footprint that provides engineers with the broadest spectrum of wired and wireless products, a statement said.

“This merger will not only expand the range of the combined company’s product offering but will also aid in expanding its ability to be responsive to customer requests for on-demand custom manufacturing across expanded global sales channels,” said Terry Jarnigan, CEO of Infinite RF. “In addition to expanding product categories, L-com fills a void in the market for quick-turn custom manufacturing and fits perfectly with our focus on customers who need technical support and high-quality products in a hurry.”

L-Com’s strong physical presence in China accelerates the establishment of a local Pasternack fulfillment center and strengthens all of its brands in the Asia-Pacific region, the statement said. Infinite will continue to operate from its headquarters in Irvine, California.
