Australian Utility Selects P25 Terminals from JVCKENWOOD

JVCKENWOOD Australia and partner Radlink Communications made a successful bid for the supply of Project 25 (P25) terminals to SA Power Networks for use as part of its future communications strategy.

JVCKENWOOD and Radlink put forward a bid that included Kenwood Viking P25 terminals combined with a comprehensive service package.

As South Australia’s primary electricity distributor delivering power to about 860,000 customers, SA Power Networks is recognized for safety, reliability and efficiency. Integration of SA Power Networks’ operational communications into the South Australia Government Radio Network (SAGRN) will provide a reliable solution for communicating with crews in the field, including during outage and emergency responses, a statement said.
