UMass Lowell Hires Federal Engineering for Radio System Consulting
Tuesday, February 19, 2019 | Comments

Federal Engineering was selected by University of Massachusetts Lowell to provide services for the review, design and implementation of a new emergency communications system.

UMass Lowell has its own full-service police department. Its officers are sworn armed police officers in the commonwealth of Massachusetts with full police powers, including arrest powers. Federal Engineering will support the university’s upgrade of its police radio system through the analysis, design, procurement and implementation phases of the project.

The goal is to deliver a practical and affordable system that meets UMass needs at a minimum of risk.
