Tuesday, July 23, 2019 | Comments

Applications and software development firm Alea announced its membership of TCCA. Based in Pordenone, Italy, Alea specializes in the development of smartphone applications for real-time communications.

The company has been creating innovative applications for more than 20 years, with more than 10 years of experience working with Android and iOS. With a dedicated push-to-talk (PTT) division, Alea creates customized products to suit specific user needs.

Earlier this year, the company signed an agreement with Leonardo for the joint development of multimedia broadband solutions for the public security and professional markets. The two companies will work together to develop applications that leverage Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) specifications for mission-critical voice, video and data over 4G and future 5G networks.

“Alea is highly committed to the development of standards-based mission-critical solutions,” said Alea CEO Giuseppe Merlino. “Through joining TCCA, Alea is now a contributing member of the mission-critical community.”
