Former Nokia Executive Named President, CEO of TESSCO

TESSCO Technologies hired Sandip Mukerjee as the company’s president and CEO. Former CEO Murray Wright will retire following a transition period to ensure a smooth succession process. Mukerjee will also replace Wright on the company’s board of directors.

Mukerjee, was most recently president, global professional and consulting services business, Nokia Software, where he led the 5G portfolio and positioning strategy, as well as its 5G commercialization initiatives. Prior to joining Nokia in 2016, Mukerjee held several executive positions with Alcatel-Lucent and started his career with AT&T Bell Laboratories.
