Thursday, September 05, 2019 | Comments

A Sept. 4 report from the FCC, reported no public-safety answering points (PSAPs) were down in the U.S. area affected by Hurricane Dorian.

Two PSAPs — the Atlantic Beach Police Department and Neptune Beach Police Department — have been evacuated, and their calls have been re-routed to their backup PSAPs with location information.

Only 13 cell sites out of 9,711 reported in the affected counties were down as of Sept. 4.

The full report is here.
