CentralSquare Technologies celebrated its one-year anniversary following its creation after the merger of Superion, TriTech, Zuercher and the public-sector and healthcare business of Aptean.

In May, CentralSquare also acquired Tellus Safety Solutions, a company that specializes in connecting multiple CAD systems used by emergency responders.

“This past year has been one of tremendous growth and innovation for CentralSquare,” said CEO Simon Angove. “Our merger and subsequent rebrand allowed us to expand our services and offerings while focusing on bringing innovation such as the cloud, data science, artificial intelligence and the internet of things (IoT) to the public sector.”

Key public-safety wins included Benton County, Arkansas; San Manuel, California; Westminster (Colorado) Police Department; Gwinnett County, Georgia; Rockford/Winnebago County, Illinois; Monroe County (Michigan) Sheriff; Rutherford County, North Carolina; York County (South Carolina) Sheriff; and Allen and Lewisville Police Departments in Texas.

Expanding to eight centers of excellence — six in the United States and two in Canada — CentralSquare increased its workforce by more than 400 employees, with additional hiring expected in the areas of sales, professional services and development.
