Former Sprint 800 MHz Rebanding Exec Joins EWA

The Enterprise Wireless Alliance (EWA) hired Kyle Entz as executive director, strategic initiatives. Entz will contribute to member advocacy initiatives, assist members who require spectrum access guidance, and manage 900 MHz incumbent transition requirements pursuant to EWA’s services agreement with Anterix.

Entz brings more than 20 years of experience in FCC licensing and spectrum policy matters. With more than 15 years at Sprint, he managed more than 50,000 FCC licenses and a team that supported multiple, complex corporate initiatives such as the relocation of thousands of 800 MHz incumbents including the nationwide relocation of Sprint’s 800 MHz spectrum assets.

While at Sprint, Entz contributed to upgrading network technologies to CDMA and Long Term Evolution (LTE) and Sprint’s nationwide deployment of 4G and 5G network upgrades. He also has experience with secondary market spectrum leasing, spectrum acquisition, tower siting and point-to-point microwave solutions.

“Kyle has a depth of experience in regulatory affairs, policies and wireless technologies that will enable EWA to continue to be the leader of providing the private wireless industry with critical spectrum planning and acquisition solutions,” said EWA President Mark Crosby.
