Anritsu LMR Master S412E - Land Mobile Radio Modulation Analyzer, Signal Generator, Spectrum Analyzer, and Vector Network Analyzer

The LMR Master S412E is the ideal instrument for Land Mobile Radio (LMR) and Professional Mobile Radio (PMR) technicians and engineers engaged in field testing the RF performance of NBFM, P25, P25 Phase 2 (TDMA), DMR (MotoTRBO™), TETRA, NXDN™, dPMR, and LTE for commercial, public safety, maritime, and critical infrastructure radio systems. In addition the LMR Master offers support for USA Class 1 railway Positive Train Control systems.

The LMR Master is a highly-integrated rugged handheld instrument that offers unmatched measurement breadth, depth, and precision, while reducing the number of different instruments needed to verify operation and diagnose problems.

The LMR Master combines a high performance receiver / Spectrum Analyzer with the world's most advanced handheld Vector Network Analyzer plus a CW / P25 (Phase 1 & Phase 2), DMR (MotoTRBO™), TETRA, NXDN™,  and PTC Signal Generator with internally adjustable power from 0 dBm to –130 dBm.

  • Spectrum Analysis and Interference Analysis testing - Industry's best dynamic range, noise floor, and TOI allows analysis and low level signals even in the presence of strong nearby RF sources
  • Vector Network Analysis and Distance Domain testing for cables, antennas, and connectors - allows measurement and recording/documentation of reflected and transmitted signals in Log Mag, VSWR, Phase, Group Delay, Smith Chart, Real and Imaginary Impedance - fast 850 μsec/point sweep speed
  • Distance-To-Fault measurement using Frequency Domain Reflectometry
  • Return Loss measurement with 42 dB directivity - Insertion Loss measurement with >100 dB dynamic range
