The Enterprise Wireless Alliance (EWA) and Utilities Technology Council (UTC) filed applications for review of the FCC’s order granting Higher Ground an earth station (ES) license. In January, the FCC granted Higher Ground’s application, with conditions, for a nationwide license to operate mobile ES transmitters in the fixed service 6 GHz band despite filings from numerous mission-critical communications organizations, including EWA, in opposition.
