Over the course of a week in late July, staff from the National Urban Security Technology Laboratory (NUSTL) and the Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) collaborated with several federal, state and local agencies for the 2022 Urban Operational Experimentation (OpEx), which also brought together technology developers and first responders to take part in demonstrations and evaluations.

Embark Trucks completed a public demonstration of its emergency vehicle interaction capability. Telit and Thales entered into an agreement under which Telit intends to acquire Thales' cellular internet of things (IoT) products.
